- Schedule your appointment at least two weeks before special events to ensure the best results.
- Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, aspirin, blood thinners, and certain supplements for 48 hours prior to treatment to minimize bruising.
- Pause retinol use and avoid prolonged sun exposure for at least one week before your session.
- Your consultation includes a customized plan tailored to your goals.
- Sculptra® is administered through a series of tiny injections into the skin.
- For comfort, a local anesthetic or ice may be applied before and after treatment.
- The procedure typically takes 30–60 minutes.
- Apply ice packs for 10 minutes on, 10 minutes off during the first 24 hours to reduce swelling.
- Massage the treated areas for 3–5 minutes, 3–5 times daily, for 3–5 days as instructed.
- Avoid alcohol, NSAIDs, aspirin, lasers, chemical peels, and abrasive treatments for a few days.
- Use Tylenol for discomfort and Arnica gel for bruising if needed.
Refrain from exaggerated facial movements or chewing hot foods in numb areas for several hours. - Light exercise may be resumed the next day and can even enhance results.
- Protect treated areas from sun exposure until redness and swelling resolve.
